Prostor PRAHA hostí cizojazyčnou sekci Mezinárodního festivalu dokumentárních filmů Jeden Svět, jehož letošním tématem je Umění spolupráce. Promítání budou probíhat každý den v 18.30 a 21.00.

Mnozí obyvatelé Donbasu měli po léta pocit, že ukrajinská vláda přehlíží jejich problémy a ignoruje jejich nároky. Rusko jich na jaře 2014 po anexi Krymu využilo pro nepřiznanou separatistickou operaci. Ozbrojené skupiny proruských rebelů ovládly místní úřady a vyhlásily referendum o odtržení od Ukrajiny. Režisér Antony Butts na konkrétních lidských osudech a bezprostředně zachycených situacích zobrazuje odhodlání a nadšení, ale i naivitu, aroganci a krutost účastníků převratu. Revoluce vynáší k moci značně sporné postavy a své původní vyznavače zanechává mnohdy rozčarované zjištěním, že byli jen pěšáky na šachovnici ovládané mocnějšími hráči.
Many residents of Donbass have felt for years that the Ukrainian government ignores their problems and demands. After the annexation of Crimea in the spring of 2014, Russia used them for a covert separatist operation. Armed groups of pro-Russian rebels took control of local authorities and announced a referendum on secession from Ukraine. Based on concrete human experiences and situations, film maker Antony Butts captures the determination and passion, but also the naivety, arrogance and cruelty of the participants in the coup. The revolution brings to power highly controversial figures, and its former adherents are often left disillusioned to learn that they were mere pawns controlled by more powerful players.

Je chytrá, krásná, úspěšná ve škole a nadaná ve fotbale i oblíbená mezi kamarádkami. Přesto není čtrnáctiletá Rochsár šťastná. Před pěti lety utekla s rodiči a několika staršími sourozenci do Dánska. V Afghánistánu jim šlo o život, přesto celé početné rodině dodnes chybí povolení k pobytu v Dánsku. Dennodenně nad nimi tudíž visí hrozba deportace. Benjamínek rodiny Rochsár se dostává vinou osudu do nelehké role. Jako jediná mluví plynně dánsky, a proto právě na ní zůstává veškerá komunikace s právníky a imigračním oddělením. Může čtrnáctiletá dívka unést takové břímě? Přátelé, sousedé i známí nabízejí pomoc, ale azylová politika je často neúprosná.
She’s smart, beautiful and popular, does well in school and is a talented football player. But 14-year-old Rochsár is unhappy. Five years ago, she fled with her parents and several older siblings to Denmark. In Afghanistan their lives were in danger, but the entire extended family still lacks a residence permit in Denmark. Every day the threat of deportation looms. Rochsár, as the youngest in the family, has been cast by destiny into a difficult role. As the only fluent Danish speaker, she has to manage all communications with the lawyers and the immigration department. Can a 14-year-old girl bear such a burden? Friends, neighbours and acquaintances offer assistance, but the asylum policy is often merciless.
