ArtMap was created in 2008 as the first comprehensive map for anyone who wanted to get their bearings on the Prague art scene. Today, it is published in Czech and English in Prague and Brno every two months. It is available free of charge in selected galleries, information centers, cafés, cinemas, and other cultural institutions in Prague and Brno. If you are interested in having Brno or Prague ArtMaps in your space or business, you can pick them up at both branches of the ArtMap bookstore.

The website also serves as an archive. Thanks to its extensive database of events and exhibitions, it is possible to delve into its rich history and find information about past events.
ArchiveBookshops and e-shop
ArtMap also started operating an e-shop with art books and later a brick-and-mortar bookstore in Brno in 2015. Initially located in the Governor's Palace below the Moravian Gallery, it later moved to TIC Gallery. In Prague, we have been operating since 2014, initially at Školská 28 in symbiosis with the Školská 28 Communication Space and the Fotograf Gallery. We moved to our current address at Vojtěšská 18 thanks to the Agosto Foundation in 2017.

ProfileWeb portal
The artmap.cz web portal provides daily updates on exhibitions and art events. Whether on your computer or mobile phone, you can easily find specific events or summaries of current happenings not only in large cities, but also in regions and smaller towns throughout the Czech Republic.
Newsletter and socials
You can also subscribe to a weekly newsletter featuring a selection of the most important events that you shouldn't miss. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, where we will notify you about upcoming exhibitions and other events so you don't miss a thing.
Publishing house & e-shop
Since 2015, ArtMap Publishing has been publishing art books by Czech and international authors focusing on original art, art theory, and contemporary visual culture.
Our booksart re use
The latest and long-planned project art re use was established in 2021 in collaboration with the ArtMap and Skutek associations. Located in Prague's Žižkov district, it is a warehouse for recycled art and gallery materials. The warehouse recycles, distributes, and transforms all kinds of discarded gallery and art materials into useful and reusable items. In 2025, it is opening its first branch in České Budějovice.
