We are here with the first exhibition of this year, where we will gradually present artists who were selected in our open call. Tereza Jobová is one of them. Her artistic work is influenced by surrealism, horror, decadence and focused on spirituality.

She is mainly engaged in arranged photography, painting, as well as collages and poetry. She received her master's degree from the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, where she is currently studying for a doctoral degree in Visual Communication. She is a member of the women's photography association Sisters in Photography and her work has been in group and solo exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad for years.

At Jednota, she will present the photography series Undercurrents, which explores hidden, wild and unconscious forces that inevitably, whether we wish it or not, assert themselves in everyday life. It captures the tension between control and chaos, consciousness and unconsciousness.
