The site-specific exhibition Art in Znojmo, following up on the symposium of the same name, presents the work of prominent Czech artists in spaces of the Loucký Monastery prelature that are not normally open to the public. 

The theme of the exhibition is the contrast between asceticism and hedonism—two poles that raise questions about the relationship between body and spirit, renunciation and pleasure, spirituality, consumerism, and the shifting values of contemporary society.

During the guided tour, curator Andrea Krejčí will guide you through the exhibition, placing the artworks in a broader context and revealing their significance. She will also tell you something about the artists and their other works.
