Art workshop for children ages 5 and up. This time with Ilona Mach.

Since ancient times, people have recorded the world around them—important events, everyday life, and even their own likenesses. They drew, painted, carved in stone, and sometimes even decorated their own faces. In the past, they used only what they found in nature—plant and animal dyes, minerals, clay, mud, and ash.

Just like them, we’ll paint our faces with mud (intended for therapeutic purposes). No brushes or other tools—we’ll make do with the best tool we all have: our own fingers. “Mud Painting” is a workshop for anyone who wants to step back in time for a moment or simply enjoy the joy of creating and getting their fingers covered in mud. We invite parents and grandparents to join us in this creative activity.
