This joint exhibition will mark the first gathering of artists united by their interest in painting and building materials and their rigorous adherence to technological and artisanal processes based on predetermined structural, architectural, or painting principles.

Although the motivations and starting points of the two artists differ, their resulting works—with their reduced, non-representational forms—converge in the tension between structure and construction, production and creation, which raise questions about the true nature of things and about what emerges in the interstitial space between the practical work process and its naming.
