Contemporary Art Festival Prostějov 2026: In Connection

For the sixth year in a row, the first weekend in October in Prostějov is dedicated to contemporary art. This year’s theme Prostějov Contemporary Art Festival “In Connection” is more than just the name of this year’s edition for us. The festival strives to connect contemporary art with the city’s history, local communities, and visitors from across the country and abroad. Among other things, you can look forward to an exhibition by Slovak artist Viktor Freš at the Prostějov Castle, Jan Hísek at the Špalíček Museum, Dáša Lasotová at the KEL Gallery, and photographs by Ivan Pinkava at the Kolumbárium Microgallery. The festival will also feature guided tours and a music program.

The festival program is for accredited visitors free of charge. You can find all the latest information on the website and on Instagram.
