Discover the magic of one of the traditional printmaking techniques and join us as we walk through the entire creative process, from the very basics to the final print. You’ll try your hand at preparing a design, engraving a plate, and intaglio printing on a printing press. You’ll also learn how to work with color registration and create multicolor versions of your own artwork.

We’ll draw inspiration from the prints by Bohuslav Reynek, which are part of the exhibition The Factory for Beauty. Together, we’ll examine his work with line, texture, and atmosphere, and then you’ll try out the drypoint technique in your own artwork.

The workshop will be led by artist Mariana Dočekalová, and you’ll take home several prints. All art supplies are included in the price and available at 8smička. We recommend wearing appropriate clothing for the workshop.
