Golden Corinthian columns glisten next to a holy image tucked behind the windshield wiper of a Fiat. Something is hidden behind the plastic altar, and the horse in the painting never stops running. Seemingly unrelated elements intersect in two minds. During a silent visual dialogue, glimpses of the theater of everyday reality flash by—composed of plastic sacred objects, cultural fragments, and highly ordinary things in the context of our fast-paced times.

The exhibition grew out of a simple experiment. For a certain period, the artists communicated exclusively through their own photographs—without any verbal commentary. Their efforts to create a pure visual dialogue sometimes intersect, while at other times they miss the mark entirely.

It was only after this “photographic texting” had ended that the texts—which are part of the installation—were created. They are neither captions nor explanations of the photographs, but rather another layer of dialogue and a subsequent reaction to the communication that had already taken place.

The photographs by both artists have a diary-like quality. They capture a personal view of the world, minor absurdities, and the sacred in the everyday. The exhibition is also an attempt to move away from the need to conceptualize everything in advance and to leave room for intuition, chance, and the very act of sharing.
