František Kowolowski – This body belongs to art

Doc. MgA. František Kowolowski, dean of The faculty of Fine Arts of Universitas Ostravensis is the one of the important czech artists. He was nominated for Jindřich Chalupecký Award in year 2000. He uses a lot of mediums in his artworks (drawing, painting, objects, installations, video, action, performance and others.) He leads Atelier of painting 2. Besides of pedagogic he is a curator of exhibitions. He operated in Moravská galerie v Brně, Dům umění v města Brna and Galerie 99. He is alternative musician too, he plays with his band Vítrholc.
