Hans-Peter Riese is a German journalist, curator, author of monographs and art publications. He has a gift for sensitively perceiving and assessing art and a gift for listening to its creators. Thanks to his openness, empathy, generosity and diligence, a number of expert texts, exhibition projects, long-lasting friendships and lasting relationships have been created. 

Galerie Závodný has had the opportunity to work with Mr. Riese since 2017. During this period of intense collaboration, 12 solo exhibitions have been organized. On the occasion of his life anniversary, Galerie Závodný together with Arne Schreiber organized a look back at his curatorial projects.
