For one weekend, the Hraničář gallery will become a meeting point for everybody who loves all forms of painting and drawing. Like the last year’s event, the festival will be attended by both domestic and foreign artists who will introduce their works and share their knowledge. We have prepared a programme for both experienced artists and beginners as well as for people who just want to take a peek into the everyday life of professional draughtsmen. There will be several comics authors and theoreticians available to all those interested in this increasingly popular medium, giving their tips or even demonstrating the creative process.

Apart from the above mentioned, the guests will be able to enjoy stands with original illustrations and comics, debates with the authors, a reading room, workshops, an exhibition of posters and tattoos, Robokreslidlo – a drawing robotic hand, GD2 paintbox, evening and all-night concerts, home-made ice-cream “Zmrzlina Hlína”, and the “Shyness” exhibition. In short, it will be a small yet eventful festival of people who like drawing with pencils, felt-tip pens, charcoal and other tools, using both papers and computers, and then create books, comics, zines and anything else from their works.

The opening ceremony will be held in the Public Hall Hraničář on September 17 at 5 pm.
