Insights into the ollections

The exhibition recalls the unique tradition of Hořice as a town of sculpture, stonework and local sandstone. It presents selected works from the collections of the Municipal Museum and Gallery of Hořice and the legacy of the people who contributed to the identity of the Gallery of Sculptures.

An important personality in its history was the founder and curator Jan Kyselo, who helped to link the Hořice sculptural tradition with modern Czech art.
