Guided tour with the curators Jan Slanina and Michaela Vávrová.

The exhibition New Era marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of the pioneer of light-kinetic art Zdeněk Pešánek and, at the same time, the 30th anniversary of the major retrospective exhibition at the National Gallery in Prague, which introduced his work to a wider public.

The exhibition presents Pešánek’s work through original pieces, their photographic and digital reproductions, and preserved archival materials from the collections of the Benedikt Rejt Gallery, placing them in dialogue with the work of both emerging and established generations of artists who are further developing his legacy.
