Open Call 2026: Artist Residency at Gallery Síň in Telč in Czech Republic
The cultural association Oblast is announcing a call for submissions of artistic exhibition projects with a residency stay at the premises of the Jewish cemetery in Telč during the period from June 28 to September 4, 2026.
The residency will last 2 weeks and is intended for 1–4 persons/group. The call is not age-restricted and is open to artists from Czechia and abroad. The gallery, measuring 6 x 6 meters, is located in the former ceremonial hall. The object lies on the outskirts of the city and operates without electricity. Accommodation, including kitchen facilities, is provided on the premises. Due to the nature of the location, consider in advance the suitability of exhibited artworks.
A total of 5 projects will be selected.
Conditions:
– Self-supervision of the exhibition.
– Self-arranged transportation, installation, and de-installation.
– Self-financing of the project

– Title, description, and visual documentation of the project
– Link to a portfolio
– Specification of suitable timeframes:
1) June 28–July 10
2) July 12–July 24
3) July 26–August 7
4) August 9–August 21
5) August 23–September 4
