SudetenFNAF 26 – Sustainable Nudity in Nová Perla
Admission is by donation
The traditional SudetenFNAF (Sudeten Festival of Naked Forms) will feature an evening program every night at 6 p.m. at Café Perla—art presentations and shared experiences. The highlight will be the performance festival on Saturday, August 29, starting at 6 p.m.
You’ll encounter art from Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic. A number of experienced artists will be visiting Nová Perla, including Mykhaylo Barabash, a professor at the Lviv National Academy; Yaryna Shumska, a curator and artist; Kasha Potrohosh, Nataliia Shevchenko, Maryna Naumchuk, a duo of artists and organizers from Görlitz—Sebastian Hänell and Sascha Röhricht, Polish artists Monika Winczyk and Magdalena Mellin, as well as legends of Czech action art Martin Zetová, Sara Wollasch, and Lenka Klodová.
SudetenFNAF will intersect with the project Performance in Times of Crisis, in which artists from Ukraine and the Czech Republic will collaboratively create performative workshops for the audience, which could help performances shed light on the current difficult geopolitical situation. This project will continue at Perla until September 3.
