Through the Labyrinth of Nature

The programme is loosely related to the collection's exhibition Labyrintem and opens up another possible journey we can take through its world - this time towards nature as a living organism of which we are a part. Nature here is not just a subject, but a way of perceiving: mutable, corporeal, figurative. Over the course of a day, the gallery transforms into a space where movement, word, image and sound meet. Through body, story and creation we will get closer to what is alive in and around us.

The programme includes workshops in physical poetry with Petr Vasa, which combine movement, voice and language into a single creative whole, and storytelling workshops by Martin Hak, in which we learn to listen and tell stories, art labs for children, inspired by the theme of nature and its order, and commented tours with artist Dagmar Šubrtová, in whose work the relationship between man and nature is a central motif. The day will conclude with the opening of an exhibition by Marcela Vichrová and a performance by Petr Váša, which will combine poetry, music and movement into one living experience.

Labyrinth of Nature is an invitation to discover how nature touches our minds, bodies and imaginations - and how we can become part of it again.
