The Temporary Truce exhibition is based on the practice of diagrammatic reasoning and graphical representation of systems and events. Aleš Zapletal, who currently teaches in the painting studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, has long been involved in the interconnection of drawing, painting and metaphysical systems of thought.

The most ambitious type of pictorial organizational schemes are the so-called cosmograms, whose function is to describe, and thus influence, the Earth and the world itself. Paradoxically, the author finds the key to grasping such complex entities in the changing and unreliable environment of post-facto news and artificial intelligence.
