Galerie Dole celebrates twenty years of its existence with an exhibition of artists associated with the Buk project. The aim of this long-term art project was to connect artists across generations associated with the visual and cultural scene in Ostrava.

In 2015, the four initiators - Aleš Hudeček, Martin Froulík,Tomas Kurečka and Zdeněk Janošec Benda - jointly created a large-format artist book, a kind of contemporary visual anthology, to which more than thirty artists have contributed so far. The project thus naturally maps the community that has met, created and influenced each other in Ostrava over the last two decades. It is neither a closed circle nor a curatorial canon, but a living portrait of an environment that is naturally changing. Similarly, the composition of the artists presented in the Galerie Dole has been changing for twenty years.
