Darina Molatová is a recent graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where she studied sculpture. Her work focuses on the human body, its environment and the traces that human presence and its psychological dimensions leave in space. The space of the gallery itself became an impulse for the artist to realize a project she had been considering for a long time. The result is a unique site-specific installation that thematizes the presence of thoughts and the way they are treated.

Darina Molatová (1998) is a visual artist living and working in Prague and South Moravia. Her work focuses on the relationship between the body and the psyche and how inner experience is imprinted on physical space. Through sculpture, she explores personal boundaries, vulnerability and the fluidity of identity.

Between 2019-2025 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the studio Sculpture 1 (Lukáš Rittstein, Maruša Sagadin, Erika Velická, David Fesl). Before that she studied industrial design at the Czech Technical University in Prague. During her studies, she completed internships and residencies at the Kunsthochschule Kassel (Florian Slotawa atelier) and Ex Manifattura Tabacchi in Cagliari.

She has presented her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad, including at the KOREK Gallery in Valtice, the National Gallery in Prague, the Gallery of Modern Art in Roudnice nad Labem and the MArteLive Biennale in Rome.
