Jan Slanina connects personal memory with global symbols of power, pop culture and technological influence. He places iconic motifs of childhood and everyday life in the context of contemporary power structures and explores how they shape our identity and collective imagination. His work has previously been seen in Hradec in collaboration with @walkthrugallery, where he has been involved in the revitalisation of public space through contemporary art.
