World-renowned photographer and native of Valchov near Boskovice Josef Koudelka has accepted an invitation to exhibit his iconic photographs in his hometown. Starting May 15, 2026 , visitors can view the legendary series Invasion 68, which was created during the dramatic days of August 1968 and has become a symbol of resistance against military oppression and the struggle for freedom.

Josef Koudelka’s exhibition in Boskovice is a unique opportunity to see a comprehensive, extensive collection of the artist’s photographs for the first time in a long while. The exhibition is also the very first presentation of this important photographer’s work in his hometown.
