The work of Martina Strakošová moves between painting, object, video and performance. In 2022, she graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava in the New Media Studio under the guidance of Jiří Surůvka, where she developed a free and experimental approach to artistic expression.

Her artistic handwriting is typical in its expressiveness, spontaneity and playfulness. Her creative process is often intuitive and non-speculative. It employs elements of infantile visual language and pop culture symbolism. Moving on the edge of kitsch, she ironizes the aesthetic norms of contemporary art.
