Vojtěch Vlk – On the Road

Another exhibitor will be photographer Vojtěch Vlk. He was born in Mor. Budějovice and I am not afraid to say that he is an important contemporary portraitist and travel lover.

We have chosen his travel theme for our space, among other things, because in our shop you can buy nuts and other commodities from various foreign countries, which Vojtěch will present in his photographs. His path to drawing with light was not a direct one and led him to the Academy of Arts and Crafts in Prague to the Photography studio under the guidance of Pavel Štecha, from where he set out on his own wolf path, which he follows further and further.

Although he is often commissioned by well-known celebrities to create (his very well-crafted) portraits, he is just as happy to create his studio right on the street, during his wanderings around the world. Vojtěch Vlk will present photographs from his backpack studio right here in Jemnice.
