In the beginning, there was a 1920s transformer station in disrepair and the idea of a public clubhouse for the 400 ASA. The idea of an intimate photographic gallery and meeting place not only for members but for everyone with a connection to photography. The resulting space at the corner of Kováků and Na Zatlance streets in Prague's Smíchov district, 400 ASA Gallery is a multifunctional facility for domestic, but also global photographic creation.

In six exhibition projects a year and other accompanying programmes, the gallery fulfils the association's ambition to educate, popularise and support the photographic genre, which has a rich tradition in our country. In addition to the regular exhibitions of its members, you will also find other renowned foreign and domestic names and young talented artists on the programme.
