Barvolam supports artists with the label "intellectual disability" and creates opportunities for encounters and collaborations between these artists and artists who are academically disabled. We see the point of such encounters in the fact that the work of neuroatypical artists (as we prefer to call them) can inspire other artists through its spontaneity and authenticity. At the same time, contact with artists without "disabilities" can stimulate the development of neuroatypical artists not only in the field of creation, but also socially and practically. We are convinced that we can all learn something from each other.
