Basement Project is a cultural organizational and community platform, which was established at the Department of Art Education in the premises of the Art Centre of Palacký University in Olomouc in 2019, where it still operates as a registered association.


In 2023, Basement Project grew to include Basement Studio, which can be found at 35 Dobrovského Street in Olomouc. It is a space dedicated to exhibitions, as well as lectures, discussions, workshops and other cultural programs. In the near future, this space will be expanded to include a residential studio, which is located in the courtyard of the same building.

The Basement Project also includes the Basement Gallery at Univerzitní 3.
