Berlinská Model organizes exhibitions of Czech and foreign artists and participates in international gallery shows. BM's dramaturgy strives to integrate Czech art into the international context, providing space for progressive ideas and concepts. The programme focuses primarily on contemporary art with an overlap into politics, ecology and other socially engaged directions of artistic expression. BM aims to maintain its profile as an alternative gallery that can respond quickly to progressive trends and the needs of the art world within a framework of social and environmental responsibility. BM wants to defend a space for an art sphere not subject to capital and a place for artists' work not subject to commodification. The gallery also organizes workshops, discussion panels, concerts and publishes its own art magazine RAJØN with distribution in Prague and Berlin.

The uniqueness of the gallery, which has been based in Prague's Holešovice since 2011, lies in its unique concept, which is based on short-term exhibitions that rotate in quick succession several times a month.
