The Brno House of Arts has been part of Brno culture for more than 110 years; today it is strongly oriented towards contemporary art. The Brno Art House is a modern open institution of the kunsthalle type, which mediates and encourages contact between artists and the public. Traditionally one of the most important drivers of Brno culture, its ambition is to become a dynamic space involved in the network of prestigious European galleries.

It is one cultural institution with two exhibition houses and three gallery spaces:

The House of Art on Malinovského náměstí
The original Art Nouveau building (Kaiser Franz-Josef-Jubiläums Künstlerhaus) was rebuilt in the 1950s in the functionalist style according to the design of architect Bohuslav Fuchs. In 2009, the building was extensively renovated. In the entrance area there is a small café and a book & gift shop, on the lower ground floor an educational and relaxation room is being built, which is planned to open in the coming months.

The House of the Lords of Kunštát
The Renaissance building on Dominikánská Street has been part of the Brno House of Arts since 1958. Today, it functions as a co-working hub, which, in addition to exhibition halls and a studio, is used as a headquarters by many different entities - the new media art centre Vasulka Kitchen Brno, the Brno Artists in Residence programme, the G99 gallery, the popularisation project Brno Architectural Manual, the Polagraph photographic supplies shop, the publishing house Větrné mlýny and the art café Trojka.

G99
Since 2000, G99 has been an independent part of the Brno House of Arts, presenting the activities of the younger generation of artists. It is located on the ground floor of the House of the Lords of Kunštát.
