Fait Gallery MEM focuses on the current work of Czech and foreign artists and extends the activities of Fait Gallery beyond the presentation of the collection and collecting in general. Its main aim is to highlight the distinctive personalities of the young and middle generation and their contemporary work. Guest artists collaborate with the curators on projects in which their position as authors is fully respected. It also provides space for cooperation with foreign galleries on exchange exhibitions and the presentation of foreign artists who would otherwise not have the opportunity to exhibit in Brno. It thus fulfils the meaning of its name MEM, or cultural information unit.
