The exhibition space Fotograf Gallery ROOM was in the past part of Fotograf Gallery.



The association Fotograf 07 z.s. opened a multifunctional centre on 11 November 2009, which combines several activities intended for the cultural public in the field of fine art photography. Until now, the main activity of the association consisted mainly in publishing the magazine Fotograf. The magazine has been published successfully since 2002 and has developed a circle of subscribers and readers at home and abroad and is significantly supported by grants from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.


We are interested in live contact with the cultural public, and therefore we want to expand our activities in the new headquarters called Fotograf to include other important services to the art and photography community in Prague. Fotograf is primarily a space for a gallery - a presentation of photographic projects of authors published in the current issues of the magazine and for thematic lectures and educational activities.

This plan is based on the consideration that, in the current economic situation, we cannot rely solely on the grant policy of the state or the city, and it is necessary to offer services that would help support non-commercial activities such as exhibitions and public lectures.
