Galerie Komnata is a gallery and communication space at the Zahradnická public transport stop in Zlín. The founders and operators are Vojtěch Skácel (Galerie Garáž) and Tomáš Krejčí. The space and location of the building of the original underpass of the Zahradnická bus stop encourages interventions and site-specific realizations in public space, and so the Komnata Gallery is also clearly focused on manifestations of contemporary visual art. The presentation of intermedia, site-specific, performance and live action with an emphasis on the idea of the exhibited works. The interior space of the gallery allows for communication and connectivity through a glass trafika oriented towards the main road and bus stops.
