Galerie Kurzor, a space for guest curators, is a new project of the Centre for Contemporary Art Prague. Its aim is to provide a selected curator with the background and resources of an established art organization (institutional, production, research, financial) and an extensive exhibition space for one year, for which he or she will be able to prepare - often for the first time in his or her career - a comprehensive exhibition dramaturgy including accompanying activities (lectures, panels) and an annual publication. The format, approach and theme are entirely the responsibility of the selected guest curator. Each year the CSU will be approached by a new curator to take on this project.

From 2017-2018, this curatorial program was taken up by Václav Magid, who presented a project of seven thematically interrelated group exhibitions entitled Conditions of Impossibility at Kurzor Gallery.

In 2019, Edith Jeřábková became the gallery's curator, who prepared six exhibitions in collaboration with Czech and international artists - Maria Lukáčová and Jiří Žák, Daniela and Linda Dostálková, Dan Walwin (UK), Oreet Ashery (UK), Sidsel Meineche Hansen (DK) and Lawrence Lek (UK).

In 2020, the philosopher, theorist and curator Václav Janoščík, who curated the four exhibitions Overview Fact, Dystopian Realism, Brave New Normal and Mood Spelled Backwards, took over the dramaturgy of the Kurzor Gallery exhibitions.

From May 2021 to February 2022, Kurzor Gallery was curated by Sracz Sam and Denisa Bytelová, who curated four group exhibitions based on the overarching theme of tranquility.

In March 2022, Jan Zálešák took over the role of guest curator at Galerie Kurzor. He introduced visitors to a series of exhibitions involving two to three artists from the Czech Republic and abroad. Zálešák's project was to respond to the Aginst Nature exhibition that took place at the end of 2016 at the Trade Fair Palace of the National Gallery in Prague.

Mariana Serranová became the guest curator of Galerie Kurzor in 2023, where she realized the four-part project Seasons.
