The international comics festival KOMA, which is a joint initiative of Komixxx projekt z.s., Šaufenstr Gallery and Aargh! magazine, is preparing its 10th anniversary edition (2024). It is the only traditional showcase of current comic art in the Czech Republic, focusing also on alternative forms of comics, painting and other elements of contemporary visual art with a multi-genre overlap not only to music and theatre. Exhibitions, live painting, art installations, symposia, film screenings, workshops, a comics market, concerts, theatre, storytelling - this is the living organism of the KOMA festival.
