LUSTR is the largest showcase of contemporary illustration and the largest meeting of illustrators in the country. It regularly presents the best and the freshest of contemporary Czech and Slovak illustration and also features foreign artists. LUSTR is not just pictures on the wall, but various installations of more than 50 selected authors, workshops, lectures, competitions. At the LUSTR festival you will meet the artists and get to know the faces and hands that sometimes draw in seclusion.

The aim of the LUSTR Festival of Illustration is to promote the Czech illustration scene and support the art of illustration. In addition to the annual illustration festival, we organize travelling exhibitions such as LUSTR ON TOUR, Symposium of Illustration in Broumov, and other one-off but important activities such as Mezikrok, Illustrationindex, and we welcome other projects in which we can get involved.
