Museum Montanelli is a private, non-profit institution of modern art. It is a place that stimulates creativity and imagination, seeking a dialogue between established and experimental work, between the past and the present. Its mission is to foster public interest in modern art and to forge paths to a deeper understanding of it across diverse audiences.
The long series of exhibitions in Prague, other parts of our country and abroad is proof of the open approach and broad scope of its programme. The Montanelli Museum also manages the collection of the DrAK Foundation, whose works are regularly included in exhibition projects with diverse themes.
The museum's programme ranges from presentations of contemporary Czech and international artists, often with an overlap into "art experience", contemporary dance art or performance forms, through guided tours, interviews with artists and curators to various individual projects.
