(during the winter months, only on days when cultural events are held)

The North Bohemian Gallery of Fine Arts in Litoměřice is one of the oldest art museums in the Czech Republic. It showcases Czech visual art from the Middle Ages to the present day and also manages one of the country’s most significant collections of naive art.

The gallery operates in three buildings in the historic center of Litoměřice. The main exhibition building at Michalská Street 29/7 features temporary exhibitions of old, modern, and contemporary art. The Renaissance building at Mírové náměstí 24/16 houses the Diocesan Museum in Litoměřice and the Museum of Naive Art (both will be closed in 2026 due to renovation).  Another exceptional exhibition and cultural venue is the Baroque, secularized Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary on Jezuitská Street. Exhibitions are held here from June through September, and concerts and other cultural events take place occasionally throughout the year.

The exhibition program is complemented by guided tours, lectures, concerts, creative workshops, and programs for children and schools. The gallery thus offers not only an encounter with art spanning the centuries, but also the opportunity to discover the historical landmarks and cultural atmosphere of Litoměřice.
