Sculptor Otto Gutfreund was born in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. His works include, for example, the Grandmother's sculpture in Ratibořice, the monument to T. G. Masaryk in Hradec Králové on Masaryk Square. With his cubist period, he joined the ranks of the world's respected artists. We would like to remember this great sculptor from an educational point of view. We would like his name not to disappear from the consciousness of our pupils of ZUŠ Dvůr Králové nad Labem, and consequently our fellow citizens, and at least in this way we have kept his legacy alive.

The aim of the Otto Gutfreund Gallery program is to exhibit the work of our students and art teachers and to further introduce students and citizens of the town to professional visual artists. To enable interested people to get to know the diverse fields of art such as painting, sculpture, graphic works and applied art. To introduce important and regional personalities in the visual arts.
