Over the past two decades, PAF has evolved into a label encompassing an international network of artists, curators and events. Initial starting points include the relationship between film animation, visual art and music, and the moving image of film and video (from avant-garde film to expanded cinema to the expanded field of internet or club music). Parallel to the development of audiovisual art in the past two decades, phenomena related to virtual space, performance art, game design or fashion have been added. 

PAF is a curatorial, publishing and distribution platform. The main event is the PAF Olomouc festival, followed by PAF New York, PAF Prague, PAF Ostopovice.
