The series of site specific realisations by Czech artists in the Moravian Library in Brno is conceived as an open project. The artists are given a library space and it is up to them which public space they choose, how they react to it and which artistic medium they use. Each work is created specifically for the library space, a reflection of it, and an impulse and inspiration for the artists. The artistic interventions are located outside the usual traditional exhibition spaces and areas, and library visitors may come into contact with them randomly and unexpectedly. The realisations are gradually rotated, with individual works on display in the library for two to three months.
