Studio Hrdinů is a Prague theater that has been based in the building of the National Gallery since 2012. Its dramaturgy focuses mainly on auteur projects by authors and directors, with an emphasis on collaboration between foreign and domestic theater artists and on genre and field overlaps. It mostly presents drama productions with an emphasis on experiment and visual art. Each year, the theater's repertoire is supplemented by one dance and movement project. The theater's goal is to present artistically demanding but audience-friendly dramaturgy.

An important dimension of Studio Hrdinů's dramaturgy is artistic crossovers, which focus primarily on the synthesis of theater and visual arts. It strives to break down learned formal patterns, using mutual inspiration to find and apply new connections between the two fields. This intention is reflected both in the theater's own productions and in its hosting of progressive Czech and international artists. Since 2015, Studio Hrdinů has also regularly organized NORMA, an international festival of auteur theater and contemporary art. Since 2024, it has been organizing a one-day summer festival of sound art and new music, Sanatorium Sonorum, at its residential center, Cabin Studio, in Pěčice near Mladá Boleslav. The first year of the festival won the Vinyla music award in the category of achievement of the year 2024.

The theater regularly features performances with actors such as Karin Bílíková, Tereza Hof, Natálie Řehořová, Pavlína Štorková, Ivana Uhlířová, Jan Cina, Jakub Gottwald, Mark Kristián Hochman, Miloslav Mejzlík, Pavel Neškudla, Marek Pospíchal, Saša Rašilov, and many others. The theatre's resident directors include Jan Horák, Miroslav Bambušek, and Katharina Schmitt.
