UMA Audioguide is a continuation of the project UMAkArt (U Make Art), founded in 2010 by Karina Kottová, Jana Babincová and Klára Adamcová. The original project was dedicated to various activities with the aim of informing and communicating art to a wider audience. The programme consisted of preparing audio guides, workshops and visits to studios or smaller galleries and other interesting places across the art scene. Since 2023, we have primarily produced podcast miniseries that address a variety of topics across the arts. We try to keep the idea of accessibility and readability for people outside the art scene. To make sure we don't just stay online, we also organize events that aim to foster encounters and dialogue.
