yo-yo is a civic association, founded in March 2009 by a collective of artists, curators and cultural organizers
yo-yo means, in our concept, above all:

– creating and playing with ideas and codes
– organizing collaborative projects that break the boundaries between disciplines
– exploring new spaces for artistic creation
– being sensitive to the environment and reflecting on the changing situations around us
– initiating and supporting experiments at the intersection of art, ecology and (new) media
– preparing the space Kravín na Hranici: a place for creation, education and discussion
– According to wikipedia, the word yóyo comes from the Filipino language llokano, or from Tagalog, where it meant "come come" or "return".
