The exhibition The Soft After / Křehkost, co přetrvá focuses on well-being and the mental health of so-called Generation Z (born roughly between the mid-1990s and 2010). In their work, young artists address concrete manifestations of traumatic experiences, psychological strain, and toxic situations within families, educational settings, and the broader “illnesses” of contemporary society.

The exhibited works take the form of reflections and commentaries in different registers; in some cases, they also function as records of experience and/or as means of working through difficult personal situations. Without romanticising these conditions, the exhibition offers a generational statement that speaks to the capacity of young people to transform such experiences into new ways of understanding themselves and their relationship to the world around them.
