WORMSTORM
Sound performance for live earthworms, clay, water and moisture sensors
We don't usually perceive the sounds happening under our feet. The movement of earthworms, the seepage of water or the slumping of soil create a silent, hidden sonic world. Performance translates these processes into an audible form using underground recordings and live soil moisture sensing to shape the resulting sound in real time. Listening is thus turned downwards – to a place where continuous transformation takes place in the darkness, enabling life to exist.
3. Daniel Vlček, Antonín Gazda
DOOM DOOM, MICROBIAL ZOOM
The installation will include a live performance with microorganisms and plants that have grown during the exhibition. With the help of biofeedback and touch sensors we will try to make contact with their biological processes.
