The Benetheo Foundation announces the second year of the Signs and Landscapes competition, which aims to support the creation of new works of art in publicly accessible landscapes in the Czech Republic. The resulting intervention is intended to be consistent with the mission and values of the Benetheo Foundation.

The call is open to individuals and artist collectives who wish to create a contemporary work that grows out of a specific place and its unique layers. Supported proposals should work sensitively with the landscape and its broader meanings, while conveying a message that goes beyond the purely aesthetic and touches on what transcends the human condition.

Participation is contingent on the involvement of at least one experienced representative from the field of art, architecture or design. The selected proposal will receive financial support in the amount of 250,000 CZK for the realization of the work as well as royalties.
