A former brewery, a vast brownfield site, and a landmark in today’s Nusle district.

A guided tour with architect Ondřej Chybík from the CHYBIK + KRISTOF will focus on the transformation of the Nusle Brewery complex and its surroundings—from historic buildings to new streets, squares, and walkways that open up an area that was previously difficult to access.

Together, we’ll walk through the complex and its connections toward Folimanka Park and see how the character of the entire area is changing. We’ll discuss the preservation of the original architecture, new uses for public spaces, and the specific principles shaping the character of this neighborhood—such as the design of the ground level, the wayfinding system, advertising, and the reduction of visual clutter.
