How can you find your way in a city flooded with information and advertising?

This guided walking tour will introduce Prague’s wayfinding system Legible Prague, which unifies the navigation system and makes it easier for pedestrians, public transit riders, and cyclists to get around.

On the route from Letenské sady to Výstaviště, we’ll take a look at the distinctive obelisks with an orange stripe and the Prague Pedestrian pictogram, and explain how they work and how they contribute to better orientation in public spaces.

The walk will be led by Rostislav Zapletal from the Office of Public Space IPR Prague. The tour will also cover the broader context of the city’s transformation, including efforts to reduce visual pollution and unify information systems.

The meeting point for the public is at the Letná gardens. The walk will take place primarily outdoors.
