Dalibor David (1972), a graduate of Jiří Sopko's painting studio, is one of the prominent colorists of contemporary Czech painting. In the author's paintings, objects and figures lose their objective form and become a playful and ironic celebration of the past. The exhibition Celebrations of the Day is a contemplative reflection on the status of human presence, which appears to be close in essence to memory, dreams and reverie.
