Borrowed from the ancient title of the Great Mother, Magna Mater unfolds here as a meditation on matter, body, and transformation.
Kissová’s polished marble sculptures emerge as sensual, organic forms, somewhere between seed, body, and living organism, shaped through touch, memory, and the rhythms of birth and becoming.
Klavík’s charcoal works move in the opposite direction, toward excavation, absence, and exposed interiors, revealing landscapes shaped as much by what is missing as by what remains.
